A Strange ritual, where dead corpses are left over to feed vultures

There are a lot of rituals practiced in world which are both shocking and unexplainable. Here we would be telling you about a ritual followed by people of Larung Gar valley, Tibet. According to this ritual Buddhist monks and Nuns cut dead people into pieces and leave it to feed vultures. Apart from Tibet this ritual is followed in Qinghai and Mongolia.

This ritual is performed in front of the relatives of the passed away person.  The Argument behind this ritual is that by performing this ritual the dead person will go to Heaven.

It is said that the vultures carry the soul of Dead person to the Heaven where they can take rebirth on earth in any form. It is said that whoever does not perform this ritual will not find peace after death.

Like any other sacred ritual, this is performed within the community people and no outsiders are allowed to participate. So there are not many pictures and information of the practice.

Kai anya prathao ki tarah hi ye pratha bhi aisi hai jiski bohot kam tasvire aur jaankari logo ke samne aai hai.. iska ek karan ye hai ki pratha ko anjam dete waqt kisi bhi anjan person paas aane ki manahi hai..
